'Connect Research Centre - Pervasive Nation - Hold the Date' image

This free event will provide an introduction to Pervasive Nation - Ireland's Internet of Things Testbed, operated by CONNECT - the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Future Networks at Trinity College Dublin.

Pervasive Nation is a resource for academic research and pre-commercial innovation by industry. The half-day event will include case studies which illustrate how Pervasive Nation can be used by SMEs, start-ups, industry, academics, and researchers. The event will also include a hands-on demo of how you can easily add sensors to the network and see your data.

9.30am "Introducing Pervasive Nation"

10.10am "Working with Pervasive Nation"
A selection of companies and organisations provide brief presentations of how they have used Pervasive Nation's Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN).
10.45am Coffee break with an opportunity to visit Pervasive Nation demos and meet exhibitors representing the LPWAN ecosystem.
11.30am "Getting connected" - a hands-on tutorial on the practical steps involved in adding a sensor to the Pervasive Nation network.
12.30pm Lunch
