The Irish Information Day on the 2012 (sixth) call for proposals for the ICT Policy Support Programme will be held on Friday 10th February, from 10:30 until 16:00, at the European Union House, 18 Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
Description
The Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) ICT Policy Support work programme supports the realisation of European policies and in particular the Digital agenda for Europe and is aligned with its priorities. It aims at stimulating smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth by accelerating the wider uptake and best use of innovative digital technologies and content by citizens, governments and businesses.
This year the main focus will be on the following five themes:
- ICT for "Smart Cities"
- Digital Content, open data, and creativity
- ICT for health, ageing well, and inclusion
- ICT for innovative government and public services
- Trusted e-services and other actions
At the Information Day there will be discussions on:
- The objectives in the above five themes
- Best practices in making an ICT PSP proposal
- Funding instruments
- Tools for partnership
- Networking opportunities for participants, where you will have the opportunity to present a summary of your project idea, using PowerPoint, addressing an objective in this work programme, for about 3-5 minutes, depending on the number of participants requesting this.
