In addition to giving the site a makeover we've added some more features to our website, below is a summary of what's new:

Intellectual Property Listing System

In addition to listing ongoing research projects we've added a facility to allow Intellectual Property that's ready for commercialisation to be added as individual listings. This will further aid the matchmaking process by allowing those only seeking technology that's ready to go to find what they're looking for. Read more about the IP listing system here

Advanced Search System

Our new advanced search now allows you to filter what is returned in your search. You can now select Business Listings, Research Listings or Intellectual Property Listings to help you target your search.

Browse Feature

Also available within the advanced search feature is a facility to browse all Business or Research Listings by category or academic institution respectively. Simply visit the members section to browse or search.

Social Networking Features

We've added the facility to allow sharing of content on Facebook and Linkedin. Simply click on the icon in any news item or event to share the item on your pages. We've also added a facility for members to add their linked in and facebook links to their listings.

RSS Feeds

Both News and Events are available as RSS feeds. You can use the RSS feature in your browser or click on the RSS links at the bottom of the site to add to your feed reader.

E-Newsletter

We've added a newsletter feature to the site to allow you to keep up-to-date with news and events. We're planning to produce this quarterly initially and the first newsletter will be sent out shortly to existng members to let them know about the new website features. A quick sign-up form is provided in the news and events section and users can unsubscribe at any time.
