RINCE
The Research Institute for Networks and Communications Engineering(RINCE) is a national centre for excellence in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) based in the School of Electronic Engineering at Dublin City University. To date, RINCE researchers are affiliated with two schools in DCU, the School of Electronic Engineering and the School of Computing.
The Institute is situated at the main entrance of Dublin City University, located in a recently constructed, state of the art building, which contains all the laboratories and facilities required to carry out leading edge research projects.
The Research programme of the Institute is based on three research centres:
- The Centre for Image Processing & Analysis (CIPA)
- The Centre for High Speed Devices & Systems (HSDS)
- Network Innovations Centre(NIC)
In addition, RINCE supports the following groups:
RINCE is a member of two PRTLI funded projects:
- National Biophotonics & Imaging Platform Ireland (NBIPI)
- Integrated NanoScience Platform for Ireland (INSPIRE)
