SUNAT focuses on industry led research for seamless content delivery across different network technologies using fixed, mobile, wireless networks and networked service platforms and devices. Ensuring a seamless user experience in this anywhere, any device, anytime environment poses significant research challenges. New transport protocols, new media encoding schemes in network and cross layer adaptation will be needed to facilitate seamless media communication in a network characterised by heterogeneity of technology and devices.
