The Technology Transfer Office (TTO) is comprised of four Case Managers who manage the Intellectual Property portfolios of the following research areas: ICT, Physical sciences, Life Sciences and Translational science. Each Case Manager has technical expertise in their designated field and a compliment of experience in industry, company formation and technology transfer.

The role of the Case Manager is to assist with the technology transfer process. This includes:

• Assessing technologies for patentability
• Capturing and protecting the IP
• Determining the market potential of the IP
• Commercialising the IP by engaging with industry
• Assisting with campus company formation
